Thank you for visiting our Internet site. Sands of Time Campground is a family owned and operated Park. We are located just off of Highway 12 in the quaint village of Avon better known by the locals as Kinnakeet.
Even thou we are not Ocean Front we are with in walking distance of the Beach. (1/4 mile) no more than a 7 - 10 minute walk.
If you prefer to drive Ramp 34, parking area is less than 1 mile North of park.
Beach Access Ramp 38 and Parking is 2 miles South.
Canadian Hole the number 1 hot spot for wind sailing and kite-boarding is 2 miles south.
We are also within walking distance of Restaurants, Souvenir Shops, Avon Fishing Pier and Service Stations.
Six miles North of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
18 miles North of Hatteras Docks and the Hatteras - Oracoke Ferry.

All of our sites are Full Hook Up, Eectricity (20-30-50 Amp) Water, Sewer, Cable TV and Free WIFI.
Large (30 by 50) level gravel pads with a grassy area for picnic table.
